I went to the Horizon Smog check location at 4625 El Camino Avenue in Sacramento and can say I have never had a better or less stressful experience getting a vehicle to pass the emissions test for registration renewal. Their price to do the smog check was far lower than the other prices in the area, and the service they provided was very streamlined, efficient and very fair to their customers. Because I had just changed an oxygen sensor before bringing my car into their shop and had not driven enough miles (through the required drive cycles to reset the vehicle's computer system), they advised me on the first visit that my vehicle was not ready for the CA-required smog check. Great news is that they advised me in detail (and gave me a printout of instructions) of what I needed to do and how and how far to drive to get it ready for the smog check before I left that day. I followed those instructions and the next day I brought it back for the test - if it was ready. Really great was they first checked to see if it was ready to test (free of charge), and then once they determined it was ready, they tested it and it passed - all for one charge. Total time spent at their smog check shop - maybe 20 minutes or less. I want to thank and commend Jazzlynn, Davor and Rigo for their professionalism, efficiency and great customer service/customer relations skills. Outstanding place to go if you need a smog check, great price and great service - with almost no wait time and very efficient. I highly recommend them and would refer them to anyone in need of a quick and efficient smog inspection.

Definitely recommend! The gentleman that helped me was really nice, once he warmed up a bit. A smile and kind words went a long way! If you mention the online coupon, it's quite a good deal too. I went on a Friday morning and there was no wait!

Great place for a reasonably price Smog Test. Very relaxed but business like. Quick and easy. No stress. First come, first serve. I'm always in and out in no time. If busy, go across the street to El Palmar and have breakfast or lunch. Enjoy!

The service received from Anatoly was top notch. He was professional and friendly. I came when it was super hot, but the office was cool to sit while waiting for the testing to be completed. I would highly recommend going here. Great service at a great price with friendly employees
