Horizon Smog Citrus Heights

Needed my car a smog test..Came here because it was close and the price was the same as others that you have to use coupons for. The dude that did my test was funny we talked a by about cars and then he was off to the garage through the bay doors to due my smog..Lucky for me there was only one car there prior to me being there..I waited 30 or 40 mins..seemed fairly quick and everything passed..If you need to get your smog at a fair price and don't have to worry about a shady mechanic doing your smog..Check this place out..

Rigo was great. He knew what he was doing and he was very personable even though I was the last guest of the day. Highly Recommend the smog service.

In and out within about 8 minutes for 36 dollars total, cant complain about anything. Easiest smog experience ive ever had

He did a quick job but is $10 more than the Citrus Heights Smog Test a block over, across the street from the library, and next door to 7-Eleven off Auburn and Van Maren.

5 Stars Hands Down!! I drove past the location earlier in the day; I called the number and asked what they charged for a Smog Check for my Vehicle Type I was quoted $38. I went to the location later there was only one person working everything, and his name was Rigo. Rigo was performing the smog checks, he was checking people in, he was taking payments! I waited about 30min since there were others ahead of me, but once it was my turn I was done in about 10min. This is the place to go! Friendly, EXCELLENT customer service, and quick & thorough job, not to mention you can't beat the price. Thank you Horizon Smog, you now have a loyal customer! Also if management reads this PLEASE PLEASE give Rigo some well deserved recognition!

Always the best price and service. This place is very honest and I have been going here the past several years. Don't let the shop fool you it's not fancy (and it's a SMOG shop for goodness sakes who cares) but good, honest and efficient people. That's what matters in my book at least. Look no further. Have paid up to 100 dollars at other shops that look nice but they leave a lot to be desired. Only 45 dollars for smog check only on 2004 pickup truck. Excellent value. I don't know what that 1 star review is calling this older gentleman a tweaker just because he has a slight accent but he has never been anything more then polite each time I've been there. And your car passed. ONE STAR FAIL! If there were more then 5 stars I would give them.

Best shop around it’s always been easy to get in and out. Today rego and Maurice had helped me out a bunch even when they were crunched with time and a room full of people. They went above and beyond my expectations for their customers, getting through 7-8 people by closing. They did this with the biggest smile and answered all customers questions. Thank you

Went this afternoon and got coupon from website which was easy The tech was friendly and professional. Short wait and I was outta there. Good price no bs.

Horizon Smog has a $37 special smog inspection. Plus $10 if you pass but compared to most in the area that want $70-90 dollars. I was pleased I wish they had AC seating but I was in and out before I could complain. Maurice/Mo was friendly and forthcoming with Information and he made the process simple as possible. This is the best bang for your buck and close to Carmichael DMV.

I would highly recommend this location for a smog test. Rigo provided great customer service, fast and efficient.

Rigo at Horizon Smog was able to smog my 1985 Toyota pickup. Most places wouldn't even try to smog it. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Quick and easy smog service! Was in and out of there in about 30min. Purchased a vehicle about a month ago and got a letter from DMV that we needed to do a smog. If the previous owner hasn't done a smog within 90 days it's required by the new owner to do it. Anatoly was very friendly and communication was excellent from start to finish for what was expected. Definitely recommended!
