ABOUT HORIZON SMOG
Horizon Smog is an emission testing company based in the Sacramento area of Northern California. We opened our first shop in January of 2007, and currently have 6 shops. Our goal is to smog your vehicle correctly and efficiently to prevent damage to the Ozone Layer of the Earth. We want clean and fresh air for the California Atmosphere.
How We are Different
Our goal from the very beginning has been to be California’s #1 place for emissions testing so we can help protect the Ozone layer of the earth.
Faster and More Efficient
Our objective is being fast and efficient. We can smog most vehicles in less than 15 minutes, and our goal is that you won’t have to wait more than a half hour, even if we are busy. We know your time is important, so we provide an experience that is unequal to the competition.
Dedicated Service Writers
Typically, with most smog shops, the same employee handles the customers and does the smog checks. At Horizon Smog, each of our locations has friendly service writers whose main job is to take care of the customers, leaving the technicians free to take care of your vehicle. We have a dedicated call center for our customers so that the employee is only focuses on performing your smog check.
Customer-Centered
Most of our business comes from repeat customers. Here are some of the things we do at Horizon smog to keep people coming back:
Open Longer: We stay open until 5:00 pm, Monday through Saturday. We are open longer so you don’t have to take time from work to get your vehicle tested.
Clean, Comfortable Waiting Rooms: Each of our locations has a large, comfortable waiting room, clean floors, rest rooms, and large windows so you can watch your vehicle as it’s smogged. Our waiting room is air conditioned in the summer, and heated in the winter.
Great Service: We are very selective about the people we hire. We do our best to staff our locations with friendly, knowledgeable employees to get you in and out quickly and as efficiently as possible.
Giving back to the community
Ever since we first opened in 2007, Horizon smog has been giving back
to the communities that have helped us grow. We ‘ve helped local
schools, sponsored local youth sports teams, and contributed to local
charities.
