Fabulous!!! In n out and under $40 for certificate n smog!! Young man was terrific at his job. I bought him an ice tea next door at 7/11. Do that please it's HOT!!

Quick and easy smog service! Was in and out of there in about 30min. Purchased a vehicle about a month ago and got a letter from DMV that we needed to do a smog. If the previous owner hasn't done a smog within 90 days it's required by the new owner to do it. Anatoly was very friendly and communication was excellent from start to finish for what was expected. Definitely recommended!

Just smogged my little Mercedes earlier this week. The guy running this shop is amazing. He is so professional and a down to earth nice guy. Really enjoyed his banter with customers while my wife and I waited our turn - which wasn't much of a wait. I recommend Rigoberto for your next smog.

Friendly and fast plus affordable

I went there today thinking I was going to another smog place that I had a coupon for, but the other place turned out to be kitty-corner and across the street from Horizon Smog. But the technician at Horizon was nice and polite (he even pointed out where the other place was so I could go there if I wanted) and he said they had the same special running on-line so I decided to stay and have it done there. (I later checked on-line and they did have the same special running so I bookmarked it for next time.) He took care of it in about 15 minutes (for $29.75 plus the $8.25 smog certificate) while I read my book in the lobby. And yes, the shop is a bit shabby as some other reviewers pointed out, but I don't expect to be WOW'ed by the way a smog-only station looks. I figure as long as they give me a break on price and my Ford Escape passes and there's a clean/tidy place to sit down and read my book, I'm one happy camper.

Needed my car a smog test..Came here because it was close and the price was the same as others that you have to use coupons for. The dude that did my test was funny we talked a by about cars and then he was off to the garage through the bay doors to due my smog..Lucky for me there was only one car there prior to me being there..I waited 30 or 40 mins..seemed fairly quick and everything passed..If you need to get your smog at a fair price and don't have to worry about a shady mechanic doing your smog..Check this place out..

68+ and I pass! Thank you, Horizon. Friendly and good customer service. My go to star smog from now on. I recommend this business for your next smog. I have the coupon but so c they did a fantastic job with smog, I don't feel like taking away 20 off their price. Thank you!

5 Stars Hands Down!! I drove past the location earlier in the day; I called the number and asked what they charged for a Smog Check for my Vehicle Type I was quoted $38. I went to the location later there was only one person working everything, and his name was Rigo. Rigo was performing the smog checks, he was checking people in, he was taking payments! I waited about 30min since there were others ahead of me, but once it was my turn I was done in about 10min. This is the place to go! Friendly, EXCELLENT customer service, and quick & thorough job, not to mention you can't beat the price. Thank you Horizon Smog, you now have a loyal customer! Also if management reads this PLEASE PLEASE give Rigo some well deserved recognition!

Always the best price and service. This place is very honest and I have been going here the past several years. Don't let the shop fool you it's not fancy (and it's a SMOG shop for goodness sakes who cares) but good, honest and efficient people. That's what matters in my book at least. Look no further. Have paid up to 100 dollars at other shops that look nice but they leave a lot to be desired. Only 45 dollars for smog check only on 2004 pickup truck. Excellent value. I don't know what that 1 star review is calling this older gentleman a tweaker just because he has a slight accent but he has never been anything more then polite each time I've been there. And your car passed. ONE STAR FAIL! If there were more then 5 stars I would give them.

Great service! I took in my sons car and it passed the smog, but didn't pass the visual, there was a cut in one of his intake coupler. He told me what it needed to be fixed and even where I could grab one. We went back in for the retest and it was quick and passed with flying colors. He is very helpful and professional.

Rigo at Horizon Smog was able to smog my 1985 Toyota pickup. Most places wouldn't even try to smog it. Very friendly and knowledgeable.
