The gentleman who helped me wasn't much of a talker, but I have social anxiety so it all worked out just fine. I was in and out in about ten minutes, and paid just under $40. I'm very happy with my experience there, and will come again. 🙂

Car was too low to actually smog. (Not enough tire contact with dyno) but the guy there was super cool. I'd go back with any of my other cars.

I went there today thinking I was going to another smog place that I had a coupon for, but the other place turned out to be kitty-corner and across the street from Horizon Smog. But the technician at Horizon was nice and polite (he even pointed out where the other place was so I could go there if I wanted) and he said they had the same special running on-line so I decided to stay and have it done there. (I later checked on-line and they did have the same special running so I bookmarked it for next time.) He took care of it in about 15 minutes (for $29.75 plus the $8.25 smog certificate) while I read my book in the lobby. And yes, the shop is a bit shabby as some other reviewers pointed out, but I don't expect to be WOW'ed by the way a smog-only station looks. I figure as long as they give me a break on price and my Ford Escape passes and there's a clean/tidy place to sit down and read my book, I'm one happy camper.

Rigo at Horizon Smog was able to smog my 1985 Toyota pickup. Most places wouldn't even try to smog it. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Quick and easy smog service! Was in and out of there in about 30min. Purchased a vehicle about a month ago and got a letter from DMV that we needed to do a smog. If the previous owner hasn't done a smog within 90 days it's required by the new owner to do it. Anatoly was very friendly and communication was excellent from start to finish for what was expected. Definitely recommended!

5 Stars Hands Down!! I drove past the location earlier in the day; I called the number and asked what they charged for a Smog Check for my Vehicle Type I was quoted $38. I went to the location later there was only one person working everything, and his name was Rigo. Rigo was performing the smog checks, he was checking people in, he was taking payments! I waited about 30min since there were others ahead of me, but once it was my turn I was done in about 10min. This is the place to go! Friendly, EXCELLENT customer service, and quick & thorough job, not to mention you can't beat the price. Thank you Horizon Smog, you now have a loyal customer! Also if management reads this PLEASE PLEASE give Rigo some well deserved recognition!

This is always my first choice in smog check destinations. This is a smog only STAR facility so no matter what the DMV throws at me, they can handle it here. Prices are pretty standard here but when I bring in 2 cars at a time they give me a good deal. I havnt had a car fail here yet but they always do over my results with me and let me know how my cars are doing.. I highly reccomend this shop but be prepared to wait. This is a very popular destination so there may be a few cars ahead of you.
