Horizon Smog Sacramento @ El Camino

I was able to drive up without an appointment and my car was tested quickly. Anatoliy greeted me on arrival and was very customer service oriented. After a few questions about my car, I was given a very good price, including the CA fee, for the smog test. There was a coupon that provided $20 off the price. The business has a small air conditioned waiting area, which was nice as it was very hot outside. Anatoliy is polite, courteous, friendly and professional. I recommend the business highly!

I came in on a Sunday there was no wait, I was in and out in 15 min! The man working was very pleasant and I overall had a great (and fast) experience and will be returning!

Make sure you read the small print about suv's. Theres nothing "sport" or "utility" about my wifes crappy Gmc Terrain but yet it was subject to a $8 upcharge. On the brightside the gentleman doing the smogs was very nice so Ill probably return 🙂

Quick and honest service

Was completely terrified to use the El Camino location because of some of the reviews. Thankfully it wasn't too bad. The man that helped me had no customer service skills but I do respect his efficiency. My car went in and came out a couple of minutes later, not too bad

I went to the Horizon Smog check location at 4625 El Camino Avenue in Sacramento and can say I have never had a better or less stressful experience getting a vehicle to pass the emissions test for registration renewal. Their price to do the smog check was far lower than the other prices in the area, and the service they provided was very streamlined, efficient and very fair to their customers. Because I had just changed an oxygen sensor before bringing my car into their shop and had not driven enough miles (through the required drive cycles to reset the vehicle's computer system), they advised me on the first visit that my vehicle was not ready for the CA-required smog check. Great news is that they advised me in detail (and gave me a printout of instructions) of what I needed to do and how and how far to drive to get it ready for the smog check before I left that day. I followed those instructions and the next day I brought it back for the test - if it was ready. Really great was they first checked to see if it was ready to test (free of charge), and then once they determined it was ready, they tested it and it passed - all for one charge. Total time spent at their smog check shop - maybe 20 minutes or less. I want to thank and commend Jazzlynn, Davor and Rigo for their professionalism, efficiency and great customer service/customer relations skills. Outstanding place to go if you need a smog check, great price and great service - with almost no wait time and very efficient. I highly recommend them and would refer them to anyone in need of a quick and efficient smog inspection.
